SYDNEY TRAIL HALF MARATHON

SUPPORT CREW GUIDE

SUMMER EDITION

The Sydney Trail Half Marathon welcomes support crews and spectators throughout the race and course. However, you don’t want to be the reason your runners gets disqualified or a time penalty. To avoid this, please follow all of the following support crew race rules:

  • Support crews can only assist their runners within aid station boundaries

  • Cheering is allowed anywhere on course, but no assistance is allowed outside of aid stations

  • Assistance includes giving nutrition, filling bottles, passing gear, or any other items

  • Pacing is not allowed. Running with your runner for more than 200 metres counts as pacing

  • Any runner receiving outside support or pacing may be disqualified or given a time penalty

To track your runners progress, we can use the link below. For accurate tracking, we recommend they share their location on their phone.
